Roads to be Closed: Burnetts Lane from its junction with the side road leading to Chalcroft Business Park for approx. 50 metres in a north-eastern direction.
Period of Closure: Monday 3rd August 2020, 00:01 for 18 months or when the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The contractor expects the S278 and TRO in place by October 2020.
Alternative Route: Burnetts Lane, Botley Road, Bubb Lane, Burnetts Lane and vica versa
Due to the current circumstances EBC agreed to extend the current TTRO (temporary traffic regulation order) for a maximum 18months to cover any potential delays. The road will be closed for 3 nights only. The night closures are likely to be required on the 19th 20th and 21st of August, however for further details of when they are planning to carry this out please contact the contractor Peter Drury pdrury@drewsmith.co.uk
Prior to undertaking the work, the contractor is responsible to write to the local residents / those affected giving details of the works, the hours of operation, a timescale for completion and a contact hotline number in case of complaint.
The contractor is responsible to erect the advanced warning signs at least one week prior to the start of the works. These signs should include information such as, start date and time, expected duration and the developers’ details.
