Play Areas
The Council, for safety reasons, has removed three pieces of play equipment at Upper Barn Copse Play Area. This is an interim measure whilst we seek residents’ views on the future level and type of provision at this site. The online survey completed in February has now closed and survey results can be found here.

A further drop-in consultation event was held on Thursday 11 April at the Woodland Community Centre where key FAQ’s and maps where shared.
A full report will be taken to Full Council in May to determine the next steps.
The Council manages five play areas:
New Century Park
Shorts Road, Fair Oak
Adjacent to Horton Heath Community Centre
Meadowsweet Way, Horton Heath
Adjacent to car park area,
Knowle Park
Upper Barn Copse
Upper Barn Copse, Fair Oak
Crowdhill Play Area
Chiltern Crescent, Fair Oak
Pembers Play Area
Mortimers Lane, Fair Oak
In addition, an open space is also available at Dean Road, Daisy Dip and Oak Walk.
