Scrumptious Seed Swap

During lockdown many of us took to our gardens and started to cultivate, whether it was a veggy patch, boards or herbs on windowsills, we all enjoyed the fruits of our labour.

As an outcome and in response to residents’ comments made in our community survey about greening up the area, we would like to provide residents with opportunities to ‘grow on your street’, starting with an Incredible Edible Seed Swap.

On 13 April, the Council will deposit various herb and veggie seed packets in the community library boxes. The packets will give you helpful instructions on how and when to plant.

If you would like to donate your own seeds – great, just make sure they are sealed and clearly labelled with their common name and variety.

If you would like to work with the Council in setting up the Incredible Edible network in the Parish please send an email to enquries@fairoak-pc.gov.uk
