Face coverings

Week beginning 10 August 2020: Face coverings

The government has extended the settings where face coverings must be worn. Unless you are exempt from wearing a face covering, it is now mandatory to wear a face covering when visiting any of our premises for all activities except for when you are undertaking exercise.  See our FAQ’s for further information on this.

See the full list of places where you should wear a face covering, on the government website.

Monday 3 August 2020: Face coverings

It is mandatory to wear a face covering in shops and supermarkets in England, as well as on public transport and many other indoor locations where social distancing is difficult. A full list of places you should wear a face covering in can be found on the government website.

Face coverings protect others.

For many people wearing a face covering is possible. However, there will be some who are exempt from wearing one and you should not challenge anyone for not wearing a face covering.

Some people may feel more comfortable carrying something with them to show that they do not need to wear a face covering. This is a personal choice and is not required by law. If you would like to use an exemption card or badge, you can find print at home examples on the government website.
