Welcome to Fair Oak and Horton Heath Parish Council's website.  We hope you find it helpful and easy to use.  Our aim is to provide residents with information about their Parish Council and local area.

Fair Oak and Horton Heath are semi-rural villages set in the heart of South Hampshire.  Both villages are situated four miles away from the main town of Eastleigh.  Eastleigh is a suburban Borough that lies to the north of Southampton and to the south of Winchester.  The town has excellent communication links with Southampton International Airport, Southampton Parkway and Eastleigh Railway Stations, M3 and M27 motorways.

The Trustees of Twynam’s Charities are looking for a clerk to undertake the management of the charity and its assets.

Twynam’s Charities were established between 1630 & 1840 for the ‘Relief of Need’ in residents of Bishopstoke, Fair Oak & Horton Heath.

The charity owns five rented properties in Fair Oak Square. Surplus funds, are distributed at the discretion of the Trustees in line with the Charity’s stated objectives.

The Charity is run by a Team of voluntary Trustees, with advice from the Clerk.

The salary will be in the range of £12-15 per hour, depending on experience. Hours to be worked are variable and flexible but over the past 2 years have ranged between 5 and 10 hours per week, with an average of 5 hours per week.
