Unauthorised Encampment

UPDATE – 2 JULY 2026. The unauthorised encampment that was established on Fair Oak & Horton Heath Parish Council owned land, by the car park off Knowle Lane, Fair Oak was vacated this morning, Thu 2 Jul 26.

At 2220 hrs on 1 Jul 26, the Police gave notice to leave the land under Section 61 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.

Your Parish Council has resecured the site and will clear the rubbish left by the travellers during the morning of Fri 3 Jul 26.

Your patience and understanding during this period of trespass is greatly appreciated and it is hoped that the residents can revert to enjoying the lovely open space at Knowle Park.

If you witness any anti-social behaviour to report it via 101. For anything life threatening, or a crime is in progress, please must be report via 999.
