About the Council Meetings
Fair Oak and Horton Heath Parish Council consists of 15 elected Councillors. All Councillors serve voluntarily and do not claim expenses.
The Councillors meet regularly as a Full Council, which is the only body authorised to make decisions on certain matters, including:
- Setting the precept.
- Borrowing money.
- Making, amending, or revoking Standing Orders, Financial Regulations, and Internal Controls.
- Establishing matters of principle or policy.
- Considering any proposed new undertakings.
The Parish Council also operates the Finance Committee and has several Task and Finish Groups that are adapted or revised as needed throughout the year.

Meetings for the Full Council and associated Committees are typically held at the Parish Offices, located at 2 Knowle Park Lane, Fair Oak.
Attending Council Meetings
Members of the public are invited to attend these meetings and are encouraged to participate during the public question time. If you wish to speak at a Council meeting please contact the Clerk.
