Cemetery Pathway Update – October 2025

Last summer, the cemetery pathway was resurfaced to improve access for both vehicles and pedestrians. While the resurfacing was intended to benefit the community, it has become clear that the pathway is not performing as expected in wet conditions. 

Work to repair the pathway was originally scheduled for August. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, including staffing changes and contractor delays, the project was postponed to the October half term. Following further technical review, it has become evident that there is more work to be done to ensure that future solutions are fit for purpose and have as long a lifespan as possible. Unfortunately, this means the work will be further delayed into the next financial year, and we as  your Parish Council are committed to getting this right.
