• 25 & 15 hours per week
• £11.76 per hour
We are looking for part-time caretakers to assist in the running of various council-owned community buildings across the parish. The role requires some light cleaning, gate locking, and litter picking, and during the summer months, supporting the Operations Team with the management of the Council’s Splashpad. The candidate will be required to work flexibly, covering early mornings, evenings, and weekends, subject to the business needs of the Council.
Main Responsibilities
To provide caretaking support to the Council including ensuring the security, cleanliness, and general maintenance of the buildings and community infrastructure ensuring these are maintained to a high standard.
Key Roles of the Job
• Responsible for opening, securely locking, and alarming the two Community Centres within the village before and after casual bookings
• Light cleaning such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors in buildings
• Gate opening and locking
• Litter picking
• Support in the management of the Council’s Splashpad at New Century Park
The successful applicant must have a full, clean, driving licence.
