Carnival & Fete

The Council had been responsible for organising the annual Carnival and Fete since 2003 when the Community Association disbanded. 

In September 2019 the Council decided to discontinue the summer carnival event in its present format, due to a significant dwindling of numbers in the procession, and host a new summer event beginning in 2021.
