Carnival 2009 Highlights
The Carnival begins with Councillor Holden Brown, Mayoress of Eastleigh cutting the ribbon to get the show underway....
Our Carnival Princesses this year were Emma Sears and Grace Smith.
A Selection of the many varied entries to this year's Carnival...
Rainbows Pre-School represented some of the youngest participants this year,
whilst the ladies from the Fair Oak Widows Association put on a great show on behalf of the more senior members of the community.
There was also a variety of other colourful groups on the day, from Fair Oak Guiding as Mamia Mia,
....Fair Oak Junior School as some vibrantly dressed circus clowns...,
and Envy Hair and Beauty as "Ravers"
And throughout the parade, the 14th Eastleigh Spitfires Band played on.....
A total of £1078.42 was collected on the day. Well done to all who took part - we look forward to seeing you all again in 2010.
