Precept Information
This financial year 2009/10 the Parish Council has set the precept to maintain all its commitments in the villages, and we are pleased to inform you that there is no increase this year. Good housekeeping and saving has enabled us to set a budget that not only keeps pace with our projects, but also enables us to move forward with a significant number of new ideas.
We were pleased to offer a financial contribution to the Street Pastors to allow the scheme to extend to Saturdays as well as continuing the Friday night patrols. Along with our continued financial support for the Police Community Support Officer this has led to a decrease in criminal and anti-social behaviour in our community.
The funds raised from another successful Carnival last year enabled the Council to purchase brand new Christmas lights for the Fair Oak Village Centre.
